Just tragic. Melrose Place star Amy Locane has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide after a Sunday night DUI accident killed a passenger in another car. Amy Locane played Sandy in the original Melrose Place cast. The drunk driving accident happened last night in Montgomery, N.J. after Amy got behind the wheel following drinking several glasses of wine. Sad news, TV fans… Golden Girl star Rue McClanahan has died today, according to her manager. Rue McClanahan is dead at age 76 following a stroke. McClanahan’s manager, Barbara Lawrence, confirmed the news to People.com: “She passed away at 1 a.m. this morning. Actor John Forsythe, who starred as Blake Carrington on “Dynasty” and provided the voice of Charlie on “Charlie’s Angels,” has died. Forsythe’s death at age 92 was due to complications from pneumonia after his recent battle with cancer. The actor who played TV’s Davy Crockett, Fess Parker, died yesterday at the age of 85. Fess Parker’s death was from natural causes. Fess Parker played Davy Crockett in the 1950s series, as well as the dad in Old Yeller and Daniel Boone on the small screen. Fess Parker retired from acting in the 70s.  Read More →

The Discovery Channel has planned a tribute to Captain Phil Harris, who died earlier this week. Watch the video for a Phil Harris moment aboard the Cornelia Marie. Deadliest Catch returns in April, with footage of Phil Harris shot in November 2009 for king crab season.
